ICE THICKNESS GAUGE

This device when lowered through a bore hole and then pulled upward will bridge across the hole at the bottom of the ice. The supporting measurement tape is then read to provide the ice thickness. A tug on the tape then collapses the gauge for retrieval as noted in the drawing of the photo
